Electrochemistry Courses and Training
Gamry manufactures high-performance electrochemical instrumentation to address literally every major application in the electrochemical laboratory. We also provide free technical support for our products. For a pure educational experience, however, it's tough to beat an academic environment or a series of webinar. Gamry supports two Short Courses in electrochemistry. You can find more information below, or call Gamry for our comments on each Short Course. We also work in conjunction with industry partners to provide you with educational opportunities such as the PlugVolt webinar mentioned below.
The Liberty Bell Corrosion Course is being held February 8-9, 2017 at the Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center in Blue Bell, PA. For more information and to register, visit the Nace website.
The dates for the Spring EIS Short Course 2017 are April 24-28 in Houston TX. Visit eiscourse.com for information on the 29th Annual Short Course on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy: Theory, Applications, and Laboratory Instruction.
The 21st Annual Short Course is June 4-9, 2017. The course will cover the fundamentals of corrosion and various electrochemical techniques. Lectures and laboratories will be used to illustrate how electrochemical techniques are applied, when they should be used, and how the various techniques can be integrated to solve complex problems. For more information visit the Penn State College of Engineering's Website.
Gamry's webinar, "Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy and its Applications to Battery Analysis" and sponsored by PlugVolt, was presented on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. The webinar given by our own Chris Beasley is now available for purchase at PlugVolt's past Webinars.
