Surface Characterization Conference – Danish Technological Institute

Gamry Instruments will present a talk at the Surface Characterization Conference in Denmark

Surface Characterization Conference

Dr. Jacob Ketter, Instrumentation Chemist at Gamry Instruments, will be presenting a talk at the Surface Characterization Conference being held in Denmark.  This conferences' aim is to give companies and researchers a thorough insight into the vast number of surface investigation possibilities.  Jacob’s talk, entitled “Isolating the Surface from the Instrument”, will be presented on March 6, 2018 during the Corrosion Monitoring and Characterization Session.

Dr. Ketter holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and mentions that “As newer materials and advanced research push the traditional boundaries for electrochemistry, the potentiostat used to control and run the experiments increasingly becomes a part of the measurement.”.  The focus of his talk will be on high impedance limits, accuracy at higher frequencies, and low current measurement limits.

The Surface Characterization Conference will be held at the Danish Technological Institute in Denmark and is sponsored by ATV-SEMAPP.  ATV-SEMAPP is a company for mechanical engineering and production technology and is a non-profit institution founded in 1982 affiliated with the Academy of Technical Sciences.

Gamry Instruments was founded in 1989 designing and building precision electrochemical instrumentation and accessories.  Their world headquarters is based outside of Philadelphia, PA, USA with distributors and representatives in more than 50 countries. Gamry takes pride in offering top notch support both before and after the sale with a sales and support staff consisting of electrochemists and engineers with real-world research experience.
