With Fall coming to an end, we’ve got a lot of big changes brewing in the background for 2026 and beyond. This season, the Gamry Team has been out and about in the research community, providing training, workshops, lectures and more. Interested in having one of our electrochemists participate in a workshop or provide a guest lecture in your course? Let us know by filling out our speak to an electrochemist form. We actively read all submissions. It’s also a useful tool to get a bit of advice that can point you in the right direction.

Gamry Award Winners
Congratulations to our faculty candidate award winners in electrochemical fundamentals! Three winners were chosen from two packed sessions. Jerome Babauta was present to hand out the awards. Learn more about their research below. Gamry was proud to sponsor the awards and would also like to thank the session organizers for making it a success.

UCLA Electrochemistry Workshop
A big shout out to Prof. Chong Liu for inviting Jerome Babauta to give a two-day workshop focused on a hands-on approach to learning electrochemistry. The Liu lab provided the reaction, and we brought the potentiostat. Jerome spent the time showing attendees how to systematically characterize a redox reaction he had never seen before.
Electrochemical Society (ECS) Montréal Student Chapter Symposium at McGill University
Chris Beasley attended for Gamry and listened to some amazing student talks. We were glad to be able to sponsor and support our student community!
The 23rd National Congress on Electrochemistry, Wuhan, 2025
Jason Chen, Zhipeng Huang and John Zhang attended the national electrochemistry conference for Gamry. It was quite a large conference with over 3700 attendees. John gave an invited talk focusing on challenges in experimental electrochemistry. Gamry was grateful to sponsor awards for the Journal of Electrochemistry.
GEI2025 Days of Italian Electrochemistry
Monica Trueba attended the conference for Gamry, listening to talks focused on materials, synthesis, and prevalently classical electrochemical characterization.
