eStation Portable Electrochemistry System

Add 2 PCI slots to your laptop

The eStation is a PCI expansion system that accepts either one (eStation/1) or two (eStation/2) Gamry Series G Potentiostats and interfaces to a Notebook Computer through the CardBus slot. The Notebook should have a TI (Texas Instruments) or Topic100 CardBus Controller.

We can also provide an HP nx6110 Notebook Computer for use with either the eStation or the Reference 600.

The eStation is an excellent choice for the lab that needs to move the electrochemical instrument from place-to-place.  When we hear "portable", we usually think of taking instruments to the field for remote measurements.  However, "portable" can also mean you can easily move your instrument from one lab to another or one building to another.  It's a small thing, but it can make your life a lot more convenient.  With an eStation under one arm and a Notebook Computer under the other, you can run upstairs in less than thirty seconds.

Several of Gamry's competitors make good electrochemical instruments, but it's tough to physically move a box that weighs more than 25 kilos!
