Cell for Experiments Using the Rotating Cylinder Electrode |
||
|
Using the Rotating Cylinder Electrode with the RDE710 Rotating
Electrode requires a fairly deep cell to insure that the "cylinder" on the shaft
is immersed in the electrolyte. For this reason, we use
the EuroCell for Rotating Cylinder Electrode
experiments in the 990-248 cell kit.. |

Every electrochemical experiment is dependent upon the
temperature. In many corrosion experiments, the goal is the measurement of
the corrosion rate, which is very temperature dependent. For best
results, control the temperature of your experiment by pumping thermostatted
water from a Water Bath through a jacketed cell. The jacketed EuroCell is
shown below and is included in the 990-249 cell kit. |
