Series G™ 300/750

The Series G 300/750 Potentiostat/Galvanostat/ZRA is a research-grade instrument that is designed to fit inside a desktop computer.  Series G instruments are recommended for corrosion measurement, physical electrochemistry research, electrochemical noise measurement and sensor development.

Overview

The Series G Potentiostat/Galvanostat/ZRA is a high-precision, research-grade electrochemical instrument that is designed to be installed inside a desktop computer. The ultra-compact design is the result of the electronic advances of the last 15 years, such as surface mount technology. It is available in a 300mA and 750mA version to work in many applications. On-board electronics allow EIS scans from 10 µHz to 300 kHz without the need for an external FRA or lock-in amplifier. Extensive voltage and current channel filtering allows quiet measurements in very noisy environments. 16-bit D/A and A/D converters, along with four terminal current and voltage measurements, provide accurate results down to 1 µV resolution.

Applications

  • Corrosion Measurement
  • Physical Electrochemistry
  • Electrochemical Noise
  • Sensor Development

Standard Features

  • Isolation
    • Floating Instrument - use the Series G with autoclaves, mechanical stress apparatus, or pipeline probes.
  • Built-In EIS
    • On-board DDS to perform EIS from 10µHz to 300kHz. See Accuracy Contour Plots below.
  • Current Interrupt and Positive Feedback iR Compensation
    • Gamry potentiostats and their controlling software use control loop algorithms to accurately measure and correct for uncompensated resistance.
  • Auxiliary I/O
    • Control additional equipment via additional I/O interfaces: external signal input, analog voltage output, analog current output, auxiliary A/D input, and miscellaneous I/O connector.
  • Multiple Potentiostat Capability
    • Up to eight Series G 300/750 Potentiostats can be installed in one computer (requires industrial computer).

Warranty

Protected by 2-year factory service warranty.
