Gamry Instruments is a manufacturer of electrochemical instrumentation, software, and accessories. Founded in 1989, Gamry develops and markets electrochemical laboratory equipment worldwide to end users in various industries.
In this role, you will drive the expansion of international sales. This requires pre- and post-sales support for territories with distributors as well as direct sales into territories without distributors. You will be planning for and executing expansion in key territories by highlighting Gamry’s key advantages over the competition. This position requires significant self-motivation and the desire to help others find the right answer as quickly as possible. Significant international travel can be expected.
5+ Years after receipt of a bachelor’s degree or two years after the receipt of a PhD.
BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry or related science with at least five years of electrochemical experience and prior sales experience. Must have working knowledge of some of the following:
- Electrochemical corrosion
- Fuel Cells or electrolyzers
- Batteries and supercapacitors
Scientists without electrochemical experience will not be considered.
Must communicate very well in spoken and written English and enjoy interaction with customers and co-workers. Other languages are a plus.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. Gamry provides a very good benefit package, including profit sharing. Incentives based on sales levels are possible.
