One potentiostat drives an LED while the second potentiostat is used to characterize the cell. Data acquisition between the two potentiostats is synced so that phase information between the driving potentiostat and the acquiring potentiostat is obtained.
The new Optical Shield that doubles as both a Faraday Cage and ambient light elimination box.
The system includes a miniature optical bench with a dummy cell for background subtraction. Our 3D-printed cell holder can accommodate large and small cells and our flexible configuration allows you to use any color LED. We have red, white (several temperatures), blue, orange, and yellow available. You could even provide your own LED. The system is fully controlled in our standard data acquisition software, Gamry Framework.
