Privacy Statement

Gamry Instruments may ask you for information that allows us to contact you or that helps us determine the electrochemical instrument that is best suited for your application.  This information usually consists of name, address, telephone/fax number, and e-mail address.  This information is saved in a Gamry database which is maintained for the sole purposes of servicing scientists who contact Gamry regarding our electrochemical products.

The personal and professional information that you provide to Gamry is held in the strictest confidence.  We will not share this information with third parties without your express permission.

In this regard, we would like you to be aware of the situations described below:

Gamry provides the names and addresses (no telephone numbers or e-mail addresses) of our US contacts to a professional direct mailing facility for the annual mailing announcing the Corrosion Short Course at Pennsylvania State University and the EIS Short Course at the University of Texas Health Science Center. This information is used for the mailing and then destroyed.

We are occasionally asked by new customers to speak to a Gamry user.  In that event, we always obtain the permission of the user.

Gamry publishes a newsletter that is e-mailed to our contacts.  Each newsletter incorporates  prominent instructions for removal from our newsletter distribution and we promptly honor such requests.

If you are located in a country outside the US in which Gamry has a Distributor, we will forward your contact information to the Distributor so that you can receive local support.

If you have comments or concerns regarding Gamry's use of your personal information, please contact us.
