If you are running Windows 98, you
also need to download a patch file. Save
the file on your computer, then double-click to run. An improper version
of fm20.dll, a file needed by VBA, is installed on Windows 98
systems. The patch loads the correct version of fm20.dll.

Gamry has released Version 4.30
of our electrochemistry software. Version 4.30 is available for
download by licensed Gamry users. Version 4.30 contains several
major new additions and enhancements:
1. Version 4.30 contains the EFM140 Electrochemical Frequency
Modulation Software. This is the first commercial product for
Electrochemical Frequency Modulation.
2. In the Echem Analyst, you can specify your preferences for items
such as current or current density, E vs. Ref or E vs. Eoc, units of time,
plotting format, and others. After you specify these items, you can
save them as the default for that technique. If you process your
data in each technique the same way every time, and most of you do, this
new feature will save some time.
3. For some techniques (e.g., Polarization Resistance and Cyclic
Voltammetry), you need to specify a region of the data over which some
analysis is performed. You can now specify this data region by
entering the boundary values from the keyboard.
4. The on-line Help has been updated to include both EFM and the
changes to the Echem Analyst.
