Expanded View of FAS2 Femtostat

The FAS2 Femtostat incorporates a Controller Board, similar is many respects to the Controller Board of the PCI4/300 and PCI4/750.  The Controller Board is where most of the interaction occurs between a Gamry Potentiostat and our software, which is why all Gamry Potentiostats run the same software.

The analog potentiostat circuitry of the Femtostat resides in the black external module.  It's connected to the Controller Board by a shielded cable.  This configuration puts the analog stuff very close to the electrochemical cell to minimize noise pick-up.  Just one of many reasons why the Femtostat is the Most Sensitive Potentiostat on the Planet!
