Rob Sides

Dr. Rob Sides joined Gamry as an Applications Specialist in September 2005. Rob grew up in South Carolina and received a B.S. in Chemistry from Clemson University in 2000. While at Clemson, he was introduced to the field of electrochemistry in Dr. Steve Creager’s laboratory and he was hooked.

Your computer died, but your Potentiostat Lives On!

Our Potentiostats are so well built that they often outlive the computers in which they were installed!
If you are still using a PC4 family Potentiostat
and Version 4, here are some hints if you run into
trouble installing it in a *NEW* computer!

All new Gamry Potentiostats come with a Standard Two Year Warranty! We know that they are quality built, and we back it up!

If you are still using Version 3 of the Gamry
software, talk to us about upgrading.

We recently came across two articles that talked about EIS measurements on an electrode coated with a multilayer film. The effect of diffusion of a reactant through the two-layer film was discussed in both papers. The conclusions presented in the articles surprised us, and they may surprise you also!

The surprise hidden under two layers of film ...
