It's getting to be Spring here at Gamry and the snow is
starting to melt, so naturally our thoughts turn to ...
Potentiostats and Electrochemistry!
We've been busy with new Potentiostats, new
techniques, and new systems. Oh, yes, and a new
web site! Stop by and take a look!

| EIS above 100 kHz |
 |
Lots of equipment manufacturers claim EIS
measurements at frequencies above 100 kHz. We've
stubbornly stuck to a 100 kHz limit - we don't think
their 5% magnitude error and 10° phase shift error is
acceptable. Check the specs - most
systems have this much error - or worse, don't specify
high frequency accuracy at all.
Compare our accuracy... »
But now, we've got new instruments - the PCI4 TM and FAS2TM. With improved signal processing electronics
we get less than 2% magnitude error and 2° of phase
error up to 300 kHz. Best of all, the new potentiostats
still have the lowest noise specs in the industry, great
sensitivity, low prices for EIS system, and a two-year
warranty.

| Let us make you Slightly Smarter... |
 |
|
OK, so we have help! This June, Gamry is sponsoring
electrochemistry short courses at two universities.
A five day short course at Penn State (June 13-18) will
focus on "Corrosion: Fundamentals and Experimental
Methods." Earlier the same month (June 7-11), Gamry
is
participating in a short course "Electrochemical
Impedance Spectroscopy: Theory, Applications, and
Laboratory Instruction" at the University of Mississippi
Medical Center.

| Need to run lots of tests? |

We love to make your life easier (or at least less
expensive). Gamry's new MultEchemTM Systems offer
you high performance at low cost. Our four-cell EIS
system costs less than a one-cell system from
those overpriced blokes. Your accountants may
actually smile!
Oh, yes, it does cyclic voltammetry, too!

| Let us make you Slightly Famous! |
 |
|
How can you be slightly famous? Let us know about
your scientific publications that use data recorded with
a Gamry product. We want to publish a database of
publications at our wildly popular web site --
www.gamry.com .
Will this database entry make you money, get you
tenure, or make you the envy of your colleagues?
No way! Will it get your name mentioned - yes!! We
would especially appreciate a reprint, so we can enjoy
the beauty of your work.

| Electrochemical Frequency Modulation |
 |
|
EFM is a non-destructive technique that can measure
corrosion rates without knowing Tafel constants. It's a
new technique and you might like to explore it's
capabilities.
EFM was developed using Gamry Potentiostats at the
University of Leuven by Dr. Walter Bogaerts and his
students, with support from EPRI.
See how EFM compares with LPR and
EIS...
